Geir Nordvik holds a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and has 25 years of related experience. His experience includes high voltage grid design and operation, software development, industrial automation, and electrical engineering. He has worked as a teacher of electrical engineering in Germany and Norway. Prior to joining Unitech, he was the head of the electrical technology department at Statoil, which is Norway’s largest oil and gas company, and the twenty-sixth largest company, regardless of industry, by profit in the world. He was a member of the PCIC Europe technical committee for several years. Geir Nordvik now works as senior adviser and manager of Power Analysis and Monitoring Projects at Unitech Power Systems, based in Stavanger, Norway.
